Push notifications are the type that will appear on your mobile device whether the Scanlily app is currently in the foreground or not. For them to appear, you’ll need to not only turn them on in Scanlily->User Settings but also via your iOS or Android Settings Page for the app. Using those device settings, you can also choose the type of chime you’d like to receive.
b. Reminder Notifications
The attachment type called Notes has a feature for setting a reminder. Attach a reminder to any item and get an email or device notification with that message for a set time in the future.
c. Booking Notifications
The following are notifications sent depending on the Booking Mode you selected for your account.

d. Customizing Notifications
The Notifications Editor is a feature for paying accounts that allows you to customize the wording of notifications that users get. This is helpful if you have multiple users and want to customize the message your users who book items get. Find it under Main Menu->Settings
The Notifications editor allows custom-tailoring this language.
The notification list allows selecting which notifications to receive by email and which to receive via push notifications on the app or both. Click on the box to toggle between the modes. A checkmark indicates both methods. “e” indicates email only. “t” indicates push notifications only.
It’s possible to customize the email notifications for your organization. To do so, click the pencil next to the notification you’d like to change.
This will bring up the following editor, where you can change the language as needed for your organization.
You can drag the chips (fields) into the editor and change the wording.
As an alternative to the chip-dragging approach, you can use the same wording in the chip and surround it with square brackets. For example, dragging the chip “User Name” into the editor is the same as typing “” directly into the editor.
